- This book is divided into 7 chapters and 2 appendix. The first chapter is about the description of the problem, the key is the description of different granularity world. The second chapter is about the computation of the layered and multi granularity, the emphasis is on its mathematical model, the relationship between multi granularity computing and computational complexity, fuzzy analysis, and its application. In the third chapter, the mathematical model of information synthesis in multi granularity computation is derived, and the principles and methods of synthesis are derived. The fourth chapter is about the reasoning in the multi granularity world, including the reasoning model, the uncertainty and the granularity of the relationship, the reasoning network, the qualitative reasoning and the fuzzy reasoning. The fifth chapter is the automatic space planning, including the automatic generation of assembly sequence, the geometry and topology method, the dimension reduction method and its application. In the sixth chapter, the paper introduces the statistical heuristic search method, analyzes its theory, computational complexity, and the implementation of the algorithm, and the characteristics of the algorithm and its relationship with the multi granularity computing. The seventh chapter is the extension of the theory of quotient space problem solving, including the extension of the theory to the non equivalence relation, the relationship between the theory and the wavelet analysis and fractal geometry, and the application in the system analysis. Finally, in the appendix, the paper introduces some mathematical content, which is closely related to the content of the book, which is mainly about the statistical inference and some concepts and conclusions of the point set topology.
