- This book studies the equivalence in translation from the perspective of mental space and conceptual integration, which belongs to the study of cross translation and cognitive linguistics. Based on the analysis of cognitive framework and context to expand a new dimension on the equivalence, not the "equivalence" as a concept, but as a description of the concept, that is not going to explore on the equivalence of linguistic forms or correspondence or literal equivalence, but from the cognitive level of inquiry and description of how to achieve the essential characteristics of the equivalent meaning in cognitive context. The analysis framework is comprehensive and open features, the concept of integration and contextual parameters theory together, constitute the integrated theoretical framework of translation studies, the framework for the further development of translation studies, the concept of integration of theoretical research and contextual parameters have certain reference value.
