Mass transfer as a principle is an essential part of numerous unit operations in biomolecular, chemical, and process engineering; crystallization, distillation, and membrane separation processes, for example, use this important method. It is also vital to be aware of the most up-to-date technologies for analyzing and predicting the phenomena.
